A beautifully sunny day (with just a little breeze!) called for a change of scenery ☀️🌿 For the first time, Helen and Emma took their meeting outside into our woodland area here at International Logistics Centre. This space is currently being developed with the aim of encouraging more wildlife, biodiversity, and wildflowers to thrive and blossom. It’s all part of our wider commitment to creating greener surroundings and supporting the natural environment around us. Stepping away from the usual office setting proved to be the perfect boost for wellbeing and creativity. Just like the nature around us, ideas had room to grow — and the team returned feeling refreshed, re-energised, and with plenty of action points accomplished. Four years of Helen! 🎉 Today we’re celebrating our fantastic Financial Controller – our true Accounts Guru – as she marks her 4th work anniversary with us. But Helen is so much more than numbers and spreadsheets. She’s the go-to listener, the calm voice of reason, and our unofficial (but very appreciated!) counsellor when things get busy. And as this photo proves, she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves either! Here she is in our new case making workshop, getting stuck in painting one of the new workbenches – showing us all that no job is too big or too small, and that she’s just as handy with a paintbrush as she is with the accounts. Helen, thank you for everything you bring to the team – your dedication, your support, and your all-round can-do attitude. Here’s to many more years ahead! 👏
🏁 Formula 1 fans – this one’s for you… We’re opening our doors at International Logistics Centre and, alongside what we do in global logistics, we’ll be showcasing something truly special… A rare Lotus Formula 1 car — one of only a handful remaining worldwide. One of its sister cars was driven by Martin Donnelly, whose high-speed crash at the 1990 Spanish Grand Prix remains one of the most talked-about moments in F1 history. It’s a powerful reminder of just how far safety in the sport has come. We’ll also have: 👕 A genuine set of Martin Donnelly’s race overalls on display 🎥 A video link revisiting that infamous moment 🎬 A connection to the new F1 film starring Brad Pitt — where a replica of this iconic car features For motorsport fans, this is a rare chance to get up close to a piece of Formula 1 history that’s only becoming more significant with time.
